GP Madison Roadster
Very rarely do these come up for sale especially in this condition, I have owned this car for over 30yrs and have driven her to France, Belgium and on various European tours including last year.
Based on a VW Beetle so parts are easy to come by with VW reliability.
It’s time to part company as I need to thin down my collection which isn’t easy after over 30yrs ownership but needs must!
Tax and MOT exempt.
Registered correctly as a GP Madison on the V5 unlike most which are not!
1600 dual port flat 4 engine mated to a 4 speed gearbox, custom 4 inch stainless steel exhaust side pipes often mistaken for a V8!
2 years ago the car was totally stripped and rebuilt including an engine overhaul with new pistons and barrels, clutch and new distributor and carburettor. Also a new wiring loom was fitted including usb connections for phone/ sat nav etc.
The rebuild also included new suspension, wheel bearings and brake system overhaul.
All the chrome was re chromed on the rebuild.
The car has heating fitted for those chilly days and comes with New red mohair weather gear for those rainy days which matches the interior and wing piping.
I have the original build manuals and sales brochures and price lists from GP Cars included in the sale.
You can park this next to any super car and it always gets the most interest, she is a show stopper grabbing attention everywhere she goes.
