Father time is catching up with me, in more ways than one, so its time to part with my Luego Velocity XT .
Purchased in Nov 2025 , this was a replacement for a Robin Hood S7 I previously had, and this is by far a better vehicle, width, lightness , with a great reputation for an excellent chassis .
Weight is only around 550kg so very nippy and sticks to the road amazingly.
Car has been professionally built prior , mainly Ford Sierra , with Carbon dash , GRP high back race Seats , 1. 8cvh , Sabelt 4 Point Harness. Webber 32/ 36 , 5 speed type 9 box, I've added GPS Speedo , Inductive RPM , new Ford Escort RS plug leads , new Autolite AP104 Platinum Race plugs , new Accelera 651 semi slick road legal and track day tyres on 15inch OZ Alloys, Carb rebuilt with new seals etc.
Two oil and filter changes this summer.
New snap on/ off steering wheel, comes with a choice of 3 size wheels , Flat bottom 250mm presently on, 275mm , and 320mm.
Car is now wrapped up in the garage , sorned , and MOT just expired , having done only around 200 miles since last one. I also have all previous MOTs. The Luego is correctly registered on the V5 , and I have a large folder of reciepts , info, SVA Certificate and DVLA number plate authorisation cert.
Car is not perfect, has a few minor blemishes but this really is in very good order.
Delivery is possible by third party vehicle movers but this would have to be discussed further.
The main reason initially was that it affords more room than the Robin Hood, which i must admit i struggled with, I'm 6ft and the Luego is perfect size , my son is 6-2 and has no problems either when he took it out for a spin, but on the handling side its way above a Hood etc, those in the know will tell you how good they are, actually being also Stress Analysed By Cranfield University. Quiet a rare car really in the Kit Car world, Luego Sports Cars went out of business in 2006 , but has since opened up again as Luego Classics in Methlick Aberdeen , not as a kit car manufacturer but as in light engineering/ custom vehicle wiring and car restoration.
