For Sale is My 1973 VW Bay Window Camper ( LHD Tin Top)
Bella was imported from the states and restored and registered in 2014..
The work was completed by Deaddubs Workshop with the interior from Kens Customs
and the paintwork by Edmonds Autos..
Bella has a full width Rock n Roll bed that can easily and comfortably sleep 2 adults.
There is seating for 5 passengers with the L shaped seat configuration with 4 lap belts
and one inertial reel seatbelt in the back.
There is lots of space beneath both sets of seats for storage.
The front passenger seat is on a swivel base so it can be turned for seating at the table if
necessary.
The oak top tripod table is included in the sale. It splits into two and packs up neatly to
sit on the back parcel shelf when travelling.
The exterior is painted in blue and white with a matching blue and white interior
including door cards.
The dashboard is wrapped in the same vinyl as the seats for a unique and bespoke
finish.
The headliner was also replaced in 2014 and is in excellent condition.
The camper has anti slip flooring in the rear and ‘Mad Mats’ carpeted front footwell.
Due to its age, the vehicle is classed as historic and is therefore exempt from tax and
MOT requirements. However, I have continued to have it MOT-tested for safety reasons.
Bella was serviced in January 2026 and had an MOT in June 2025. She has had 2 new
tyres, new plugs points and distributor as well as new track rod ends and CV boot.
The campervan has a 2-litre Type 4 twin-port engine, is mechanically sound, and is
ready to use. I have owned her for the past 13 years
I have owned the vehicle for the past 13 years.
The campervan has been used as a wedding vehicle for most of its time in the uk so safety
and appearance have always be a priority for me.
