I bought this car last year from a local retired man as a project, he had owned it since 2009 after acquiring it from his daughter who had bought it in 2006. I am the 5th owner in total.
It had been dry stored in his large garage since 2018 after he decided to stop driving due to personal reasons.
Unfortunately I have not found the time nor inclination to sort out the aesthetics on the bodywork to renovate the car to prime condition. You can see all the bad bits in the photo's, it's nothing major and in all the usual places for this age of 3 series. You will also see that it had the bonnet painted at some stage but it's quite a lot off colour. I had a couple of 'patches' welded under the sills in April for the MOT. The alloys are all 'peeling' and would need refurbing.
Mechanically it is completely sound, starting first time and running like a sewing machine as you would expect from the sweet 3. 0 straight six. I have done a couple of hundred miles since acquiring it and it doesn't miss a beat. There are no EML or warning lights on.
The interior is very clean and tidy throughout.
There is no service book only a file full of bills for various work carried out and parts purchases.
It does come with the original handbook and 2 remote keys.
*** It is showing an outstanding safety recall on the airbags, however this was carried out in July by Group1 BMW in Lincoln and I have written confirmation from them***
