Description
Welcome to the sale of my "Gentry", a British kit car styled to resemble an MG/ TF. This car is based on the chassis of a Triumph Herald which supports an aluminium over marine ply body tube panels, aluminium bonnet, engine bay sides and fuel tank, with fibreglass wings and doors. The engine is a Triumph 1500cc twin SU caburettors petrol engine. It drives absolutely supperb and is really exhilerating. The best fun you could have with your clothes on. The speedo reads just 6000 miles, but it has either been changed in its life, or has gone round the clock. Bodywork is very good, but as you would expect of a vehicle which is 65yrs old, there are a few age related marks and some micro-blistering, but nothing that destracts from the overall apperance of the car. I hope the photos represent this. The most importand part is that there are no nasty rust areas to worry about. There is a nearly new wet weather kit which comprises of a roof and two side panels which are easily assembled in place, or removed as needed. There is an MOT until 29/ 06/ 2027 without advisories. Gearbox, tyres and interior are all in excellent order. I am the 6th owner of this vehicle. I believe it is sensibly priced, as original MG/ TF's fetch around three times my asking price. Viewing is welcome by appointment.
This car never fails to put a smile on my face, and on those who see me in it.
