Reliant Tempest based on Reliant fox but with factory fitted subframe and body in 1990. Have article on original build by first owner who kept it for 20years. Owned by the current owner of Tempest cars for many years and features many upgrades by him including Disc brakes with stainless carriers at front, GAZ suspension all round, 4 in 1 manifold with big bore side exhaust, bench seat by Andy Taylor, ported head, rebel race inlet manifold, electronic ignition, tow bar and electrics, rostyle wheels with newish tyres, and many more.
Good hood and frame. Galvanised Fox chassis. The Tempest website has many photos and articles of this car.
Rev counter and rear fog light not working. MOT until next Feb.
Sold 3 years ago for £8k but now has few paintwork blemishes so valued at £7 now.
Small nimble lightweight sports car that is easy to store. About 50 known to be made. Not a true kit as the factory fitted a complete subframe and body ready assembled onto your fox or Kitten chassis. Puts a smile on your face and gets a wave or thumbs up from passers by.
