Manufactured in 1964, registered in 1965.
June 2026 rebuilt engine fitted which has been chemically cleaned in a derusting bath.
Block bored to 2. 780", honed and top face skimmed.
New Fast Road High Lift Cam Shaft fitted with a valve clearance of 0. 016".
Flywheel has been lightened and balanced.
New Clutch & Thrust Bearings
Crankshaft has been reground to 0. 010" and balanced.
Pistons set at +0. 040" balanced and set with 3 top rings.
Conrods are original and have been cleaned, honed, balanced & matched.
Cylinder head has been skimmed to compression ratio of 10. 5:1, de rusted and fitted with New Stelite faced valves and hardened seats.
Rocker assembly has had new shaft and rockers fitted , tips have been refaced and assembled with new new adjusters and lock nuts.
New Oil Pump fitted.
New Copper head gasket.
New Starter Motor Fitted
MGOC Q Spec water pump
Fitted with a polished aluminium rocker cover
New HT Leads and new NGK BPES6 spark plugs
Scroll seal replaced with a rear crank oil seal.
Speedi Sleeve gear box front seal fitted.
Rebuilt Carburettors.
Body and paint is original in Tartan Red
A great deal more of small new parts which I'm happy to answer any questions about.
Red wall tyres are inserts and easily removable if desired.
Otherwise all original and in great condition, complete with tonneau and hood.
It is simply an iconic car and one the best Midget models, it will bring a smile to faces and could be used as film or photography prop, wedding car etc.
I drive it through the centre Oxford on sunny days and heads turn, people smile and tourists want photographs, it is a real gem of a car
