1981 Yamaha XJ550 , Originally Imported but fully UK Registered back in May 1999, it’s been of the road for approximately 12 years, I bought this last year with the intention of recommissioning it for this summer, but I’ve only got around to stripping the calipers as they were binding, The previous owner had a video of it running albeit a bit rough as it was running on old fuel and the carbs required cleaning , This will require some work / Attention / Project because as mentioned it has sat idle for a long time , The bike is complete and looks in reasonable barn find condition, unfortunately the V5 was lost by the previous owner , it’s still live on DVLA , So you will need to apply for a new one , Keys are present , As you probably know these were only made for 3 years and are incredibly hard to find , Tank is Nice inside , a great opportunity to get an Rd350 styled 4 Stroke back on the road , There is a few odds and ends that I purchased that will go with the bike
