Classic Japanese sports cruiser. This 1980 Yamaha XS1100 is in very good condition,
Imported from the USA in 2015 with only 15000 km on the original clock.
The bike was cosmetically restored and recommisioned but sat unused due to illness. Back on the road since 2023 the bike has been used sparingly with only 400 miles in the last 3 years and another 300 done by me in the last couple of months.
The motor is very smooth and mechanically very quiet. I replaced the head stock bearings when I acquired it a few months ago and it has performed perfectly since. The only fault is the fuel level guage is not working.
A very powerful bike in a very simple package , the last generation of motorcycles before fuel injection and computers took over, Great for long distance motorway touring but also very pleasant and relaxed for A road cruising, this bike has a lot of miles left in it yet.
