CONDITION — THE HONEST VERSION
Mechanically: excellent — no advisories, freshly serviced, cambelt sorted.
Cosmetically: fair wear for the age, and I'd rather flag it than have you find it at a viewing:
- Wheels could do with a refurb
- Minor paintwork marks on the bonnet and front doors
- Known XF dash-top warping, causing the leather to bubble
- Front passenger door only unlocks via keyless entry (not the key fob buttons or interior switch)
Interior otherwise presents well — driver's seat wear is in line with mileage, and the details (vents, gearknob) still work as they should.
WHY I'M SELLING
New job with a much shorter commute — I'm no longer covering the distance to make the most of what this car does best: comfortable, economical long-distance cruising (45-48mpg easily achievable on a motorway run).
TL;DR
A well-documented, mechanically sound XF with excellent history. Some cosmetic jobs left for a new owner to tackle if they want it showroom-sharp. Priced fairly, open to sensible offers. Mileage will rise over the next few weeks as I'm still using it to commute.

I purchased the vehicle due to my need for a long-distance motorway cruiser after starting a job in Oxfordshire's Motorway valley that involved a 75 mile round trip commute. The XF represented an economical, luxurious and charismatic choice that satisfied my enthusiast itches.
This particular car was maintained with no expense spared by the previous owner, with full Jaguar Main dealer history up until 2020. This combined with the wonderful Azure Blue over Ivory Spec and some lovely Premium Luxury goodies (Keyless Entry, Premium Audio etc.) made the car extremely enticing.
The car fulfilled its duty wonderfully, crusing effortlessly and returning 45 mpg on the motorway. It's brilliance is not limited to motorway work, however, with the car being equal wonderful tackling a fast and flowing open A-Road. The combination of huge diesel torque and a brilliantly calibrated ZF 6HP gives the car plenty of urgency and the chassis and steering are on the same level as my E39 (Seriously high praise for an executive saloon car).
Despite my love for the car, I have made the decision to move it on, my commute no longer allows me to make the most of the Jaguar's talents. So it is time to let the next owner enjoy it to the fullest.
