Description
Triumph Bonneville 1967 T120R professionally rebuilt to the highest standards using mostly new parts, i have had this bike in storage for a friend for over 12 years, it was drained of petrol and sprayed with WD all over including inside the tank which has kept it in great condition, the owner decided to sell it about six months ago, i had to buy it, i recommissioned it fitting a new battery, petrol taps, petrol pipes, and changing the oil, it started within 8-10 kicks, it rides as it did in the day 1967, in 2003 it was without doubt the best T120R in the country, concourse condition all correct to detail (with the exception of electronic IGN fitted) i have only ridden it for about 15 miles in two journeys but don't feel safe on it (no indicators no mirrors) its how it was in the day but with no oil leaks, it has matching engine and frame numbers and is still in great condition falling short of concourse condition due to wheel rim chrome has minor blistering on the front, rear is worse, exhaust silencers have blistering on the underside but can't be seen, other than the chrome lifting it would be back to being the best, i have left the WD coating on to keep it in good condition, its all as new and working but unfortunately i have lost interest in it and don't want to ride it
