Description
If you fancy riding something different, here's this little Triumph Old School 60’s Chopper, built in 2009 on the base of a 1964 T120 Bonneville. Exceptional condition!
A unique bike: light, nimble and reliable, more manageable than a Harley-Davidson. It starts first time even if it hasn't been run for several months, and has impressive torque! You won't go unnoticed, it's often photographed.
Main features:
• Morgo 750 kit (bought in the USA) with original bottom end
• Racing camshaft (UK)
• High-flow Morgo oil pump
• New carburettors with suitable jets
• Front wheel (Virginia), rear wheel (California), new tyres (summer 2024)
• Modified forks with Lowbrow Custom fork sliders (USA)
• Rigid frame chromed by Barchrome (Roubaix), which holds up very well (no trace of rust), professional metalflake paint by Seb Oldschool (Ain)
Recent work:
• Conversion to Pazon electronic ignition
• Mini lithium battery and new HT coils
• Wiring loom completely redone
• New brake and clutch cables
• Clutch replaced (7 plates)
• New silencers
A small oil leak from the sump, nothing serious, normal for an old British bike, but I prefer to mention it.
Mileage unknown, although I advertised 5, 000 km.
The sissy bar would benefit from being chromed but it's not essential. A few extra parts included.
MOT valid until 4 September 2027, but it won't be retested for sale. I see no point, as I haven't ridden it much and there's no reason it wouldn't pass again.
Appraised at €15, 000 by a professional (full file available). I'm looking for sensible offers within reason, I won't give it away! Please don't waste my time with silly offers, I know what I'm selling.
I might consider a part-exchange based on €14, 000, but I much prefer a straight sale.
Photos and videos on request.
Happy riding to everyone!
A real favourite for the 60s/ 70s look, and that's exactly what makes it unique! Very easy to ride and light.
