Description
Registered in May 1957 this lovely classic car looks splendid finished in the Rover body colour of Dove Grey with good Grey Leather interior seat trim, a new carpet and headlining. The interior is a nice place to be with its comfortable seats and wooden dash and door trims. The Dove Grey body colour, which really suits this car, is an original Rover specification choice for the Rover 75 of this year.
Much improvement has been done to the car this year with a full brake overhaul, new brake cylinders, shoes, flexible & metal brake pipes. The engine has been fully serviced with new spark plugs and an oil & filter change. The car has Radial tyres which all have plenty of tread. The cars bodywork and chassis are solid, and the chrome is original and in good condition.
I’ve recently done several road trips of over 90 miles with no issues when showing the car at several Classic Car shows. The recorded mileage is now 73060 miles, although this cannot be guaranteed. Registration document (V5C) is in my name. This is a reluctant private sale as my Rover 75 is much admired at classic car shows. Viewing by appointment at my home in Filey, North Yorkshire
I bought the car as I have always admired the stateliness and prestige of the Rover cars. The P4 I believe to be the best of the range, so well build and lovely to drive, even in modern traffic. The interior is a pleasure to sit in with comfortable leather seats and wooden dash and window trims. Parts availability is good from several suppliers. The car is in great condition and much admired wherever it goes.
