Fiat Coupe 1996, 16v 2. 0L naturally aspirated engine in the iconic Broom Yellow, guaranteed to turn heads wherever you drive. This is the most desirable and rare model and has now been recognised as a modern classic. Two keys including the important red key. Current millage is 72, 491 and since acquiring on 07/ 01/ 2023 it has covered less than a 1, 000 miles each year. It is kept in garage dry storage and never comes out in wet conditions. Since acquiring, I have undertaken some restoration to original condition, returning the side skirts and back and front spoilers to original black as they had been colour coded. I have also dealt with some rust at the back of the sills towards the rear wheel arches. New metal work formed and welded and not filled. I have also had some of the black instrument panels sprayed, as over time things degrade and become sticky. A set of new wheels were added shortly before I acquired. Original throughout, including the original Clarion Stereo. Original spare wheel and tools. Extensive service history and all the electrics work, including the sunroof. It drives beautifully and revs like any Italian sports car should do but hasn’t been raced like most Turbo version have.
I bought the car in memory of my late mother. She had always wanted a sports car but never passed her test and my father didn't want a 'Sunday' car. She loved Italy and the colour would have made her smile. A true story but now retired I don't need or can afford three cars so I am selling the Fiat and my campervan, reluctantly. I am in no rush and the car will stay in the garage until the right buyer comes along.
