For sale is my much-loved 2002 Toyota MR2 Roadster 1. 8 VVT-i, finished in red with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Currently on 72, 000 miles and MOT’d until February 2027.
The car has recently had a substantial amount of mechanical work carried out, including:
* New head gasket
* Cylinder head skim
* New water pump
* New timing chain
* New oil and oil filter
* New coolant
* New auxiliary/ fan belt
* New battery
* New rear discs and pads — [fitted / supplied with the car]
The car drives well and has been well looked after. The interior is in excellent condition and the exterior presents very well for a 24-year-old car.
It has TTE styling/ bodykit, TTE exhaust/ twin exhaust setup and lowered suspension, giving it a great stance and making it stand out from a standard MR2.
There are some age-related marks to the paintwork, as you would expect from a car of this age, and there is some bubbling around the rear sills. I have included photographs of these areas and would encourage potential buyers to view the car in person. No known structural rust.
