This Murena has remained largely in its original condition, with a respray carried out in 2006. After several years of slumber, it has recently undergone a comprehensive mechanical overhaul by a specialist garage, allowing it to return to the road in excellent working order.
The results speak for themselves: it starts reliably, runs beautifully and delivers a particularly enjoyable driving experience, true to what makes the Murena so charming.
Best of all, it has successfully passed the German TÜV inspection, valid until August 2028.
A true character car
The Murena is not an ordinary classic car. Its composite body panels, mid-mounted rear engine and famous three-abreast seating arrangement make it as original as it is endearing.
Its silhouette remains remarkably modern even today, and its metallic coral colour gives it a particularly elegant presence.
It obviously doesn't pretend to be a new car. There are a few signs of age here and there.
But after all, what 44-year-old girl doesn't have a few wrinkles?
When I discovered this beauty, sleeping in a garage for over ten years, I couldn't resist its charm. It was entrusted to a specialist garage experienced in restoring classic vehicles, which brought it back to life and updated it technically. It's a pleasure to drive and to turn heads and receive compliments.
