Matchless G3LS 350cc 1953
An older restoration but still in great condition .
The bike is correct in everyway for its year including the "argentised " plating on wheel rims and suspension units . During the 52 and 53 years chrome trim on AMC bikes was for export machines only .
The Matchless has its original registration number, frame and engine numbers also. Tin ware , hubs , lights and seat are also entirely correct.
Paintwork is very good and the small amount of chrome (silencer , pipe , handlebars and levers etc are almost without blemish.
Speedometer is fully operational
The machine is a very easy starter , the engine is fitted with a valve lifter , the magneto has the correct manual advance retard lever on the handlebars.
The engine is sound as is the gearbox , clutch and brakes.
Lubrication is fitted with a non return switch.
This matchless has been ridden recently and performed well.
