Description
This is my 2007 Maserati Quattroporte QT Sport, ZF gearbox, in Nero Carbonio paint (Metallic black), with Beige Leather.
The vehicle was shipped in February 2007 to an official Maserati Dealer in UK which delivered it to the first Owner on 2nd March 2007.
Owned by a luxury jeweller in the UK, seemingly as a company car.
Thankfully, it's probably how I would've specced it new: a blend of the discreet black, lovely beige leather, sunroof, heated front seats, but with elements like that optional sport steering wheel, 20" wheels and red callipers to remind you this is something special.
In my ownership, it has completely disproven all of the Maserati reliability jokes to my surprise.
It's never let me down, and it really does just feel very dependable.
Perhaps that's due to its excellent service history, it's been really cared for by a mixture of Hr Owen, Joe Macari, Giallo & JMH - a big file of invoices.
I also have the original Maserati service booklets, instructions etc.
Two Keys & V5 of course.
Engine and Gearbox are both delicious.
You can't write an ad for one of these without reminding everyone this car has the Ferrari-derived F136 engine - platform shared with the Ferrari California, 430, 458, and best of all, Alfa 8c.
You'll see literally every ad for these mention the Ferrari engine, and it's cringeworthy, but there is a reason. The engine really does not disappoint; it's a really special thing.
Such a shame they don't make saloons with engines like this anymore.

I've included the prices of comparable cars on the market right now as a table in the images.
This car has never let me down, but being a near 20 year Maserati, it has some negatives.
Here's a list of everything front of mind:
- Front Suspension knock due to hyperblock wear (Due to be fitted this month, I'll increase the price to reflect this if it doesn't sell before that)
- Front Tyres are old and need doing ideally, but tread is legal (Due to be fitted this month, I'll increase the price to reflect this if it doesn't sell before that)
- Wheels could do with a refurb; bought them with some curb marks sadly, but they are really nice, striking wheels.
- Sticky buttons - Regular issue with these; actually didn't worry me as much as I thought it would. Steering wheel buttons are all fine.
They can be cleaned easily with alcohol; it's just timely.
- Small cut in the leather around the centre console.
- Paint and exterior: This is its weakest area. It has some road rash on the leading edge of the rear driver's wheel arch, as is common with these, and one more notable rust bubble above the rear drivers arch, a small amount of lacquer peel around the rear driver's-side passenger door handle.
And a few smaller paint bubbles around it.
I used this as a positive bargaining tool when I bought it as I knew it'd just get doored in car parks, etc, so I didn't want to pay a premium for something with perfect paint. (Hopefully the next buyer of this has the same view, as on the most part it's still very presentable)
- Windscreen has picked up a few scratches; I think they're shallow enough to buff out with glass polish.
More pictures to come.
Any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
