Maintenance & Condition:
The underside has had extensive restoration work, including the subframes being stripped, painted and protected, alongside the replacement and upgraded suspension components.
Previous to my acquisition, the car spent most of the last five years in dry storage and has covered relatively little mileage since much of the work was completed.
It was serviced within the last 500 miles, and the rear discs and pads have now been replaced.
What it's like to drive:
What I like most about this R53 is how mechanical it feels. The supercharger, firm gearbox and clutch, suspension and general lack of refinement give it a lot of character. It isn't particularly quiet or effortless, but that's part of the appeal.
This is a modified R53 for someone who appreciates the supercharged first-generation MINI and wants a car with extensive mechanical upgrades already carried out.
I'm selling simply because I've bought another car.

I bought this MINI because I wanted an R53 that had already had the right sort of work done, rather than buying a standard car and starting from scratch. This one stood out because of its mileage and the amount of mechanical and suspension work already carried out.
