A rare original patina bike 100% mechanically rebuilt with all new mechanical components
A real “barn find” !
All ORIGINAL PATINA sheet metal and tank with no bodywork or fillers etc. Tank is PERFECT with an old blue repaint over the original burgundy.
Period gas filter fitted.
Mostly stainless gas and oil lines.
Never welded matching number engine cases.
Rare desirable “Ricardo”+. 010 BORE cylinders . New Egge piston skirts have anti fiction coating.
NO broken fins ever.
Crankshaft and babbiting by the legendary Mark Hill of “4th Coast Fours” Waddington New York
New valves guides and “barrel” shaped ( original style) springs and other engine parts from Thomas Fickau, Wisconsin
“Micro polished gears from 4th Coast fours. Bike has reverse gear as well. Shifts like butter.
New 4th Coast Fours Clutch.
Super rare ORIGINAL “Mercury” wheel discs on all 3 wheels
All new wheel bearings and brakes and Coker clincher tires fitted.
New rear drive chain and drive sprocket.
Fork completely rebuilt .
Rare Clymer and Fyrac spot lights with spares.
RARE 1920/ 30 era turn signals !
Oil pressure gauge ( John Deere fitted but correct period gauge also included) and full flow oil filter.
100 MPH CORBIN speedometer now fitted.
KJ style generator rewound in Chicago by electrical wizard Frank Vandeveld to give 12 volts with hidden electronic regulator.
Custom bolt on sliding tensioner Charges perfectly and all lights and horn are operational . Dual braking lights.
Original correct Henderson/ Excelsior semi Flxi sidecar chassis
Sidecar and electrics are “quick detach” to convert to solo riding. ( 3 bolts and unplug electrics)
RARE ORIGINAL “MAJESTIC” tandem attachment .
1928 Harley front wheel brake discreetly incorporated into sidecar wheel with separate foot braking lever.
Perfect magneto and Zenith carb both ORIGINAL CORRECT neither ever modified and are like new.
Easily accessible cable controlled choke control fitted.
Starts easily runs and handles like a dream .
Sidecar setup with correct “toe in “ and “lean out”
Custom made period correct aluminum “Zeppelin “ style sidecar body
Outfit performs really well and feels fast with such a light weight sidecar body.
Similar “zeppelin” style sidecar bodies were made in the 1920’s right here in Canada and hooked to Henderson and Indian fours.

This is one of the best handling and quickest old sidecar rigs I have ever ridden . The lightweight body is a contributing factor. Identical bodies were made right here in Canada in the 1920's and 1930's mostly fitted to Henderson and Indian fours.. This bike has a reverse gear which makes parking a snap. This outfit is in superb condition ready to ride anywhere.
