I've enjoyed owning this car and it has proved reliable throughout my ownership. With ~75, 000 miles, it combines one of the standout Porsche colours with a particularly appealing specification, including switchable Porsche sports exhaust and a rare genuine Porsche hardtop finished in matching Speed Yellow.

Condition
The car presents very well for a 19-year-old Porsche.
The bodywork is straight with no dents or lacquer peel and only the minor stone chips you would expect from a car of this age and mileage.
The interior has worn particularly well, with relatively little wear to the seat bolsters, steering wheel and controls.
The soft top is also in good overall condition. During the winter the car has generally been used with the genuine Porsche hardtop fitted, meaning the fabric roof has spent considerable periods protected and retracted.
The original Porsche wheels have recently been professionally refurbished in Porsche Titanium Grey, which works particularly well against the Speed Yellow bodywork, and new tyres were fitted at the time of refurbishment.

The car comes with partial service history and has been well maintained during my ownership.

A distinctive 987 S
The 987 generation occupies a particularly appealing point in the Boxster's history: compact dimensions, hydraulic steering, a naturally aspirated flat-six and, in this case, a six-speed manual gearbox.
Speed Yellow makes this example particularly distinctive, while the sports exhaust, carbon details, colour-coded interior elements and genuine matching Porsche hardtop give it a specification that's difficult to replicate.
The lowered springs and Titanium Grey wheels give the car a slightly more purposeful stance without fundamentally changing its character. The upgraded Pioneer system also brings wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to the car without detracting from the driving experience.
