2008 BMW M3 E93 Convertible DCT – Silverstone II – Extensive History

An exceptionally well-presented BMW E93 M3 Convertible, finished in Silverstone II Metallic with the naturally aspirated 4. 0-litre S65 V8 and seven-speed M-DCT gearbox.
This is a thoroughly maintained example with extensive invoices and evidence of the important preventative work. I've also invested considerably in its appearance and handling during my ownership, including KW HAS suspension, new 359-style wheels and a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
The car has just returned from a BMW specialist, having received a fresh oil and filter service, four-wheel alignment and replacement O2 sensor on 24 September 2026.
Maintenance and history
Rod bearings replaced at 101, 865 miles.
Engine mounts replaced at the same time.
Both throttle actuators replaced at 102, 454 miles, with lifetime guarantee.
Roof pump replaced.
Rear subframe refurbished and bushes replaced.
Spark plugs and coolant replaced at approximately 102, 000 miles.
Oil and filter service at 106, 135 miles in October 2025.
Differential oil changed at approximately 106, 000 miles.
Fresh oil and filter service – September 2026.
O2 sensor replaced – September 2026.
Four-wheel alignment completed – September 2026.
Recent BMW specialist inspection, with supporting paperwork.
The last four MOTs have been passed without advisories. MOT until February 2027.
An extensive folder of service history and invoices accompanies the car, including documentation for the major mechanical work.

The combination of the 359-style wheels and KW suspension gives the car a particularly attractive stance while retaining the functionality of the factory EDC.
Factory specification
Originally supplied as a BMW demonstrator, the car had an original list price of approximately £70, 000, including around £8, 800 of factory options.
Specification includes M-DCT Drivelogic, EDC, Professional HiFi/ DSP, Comfort Access, heated seats, High Gloss Shadow Line, parking sensors, through-load system, wind deflector and USB/ audio interface.
Condition and ownership
Registered 29 April 2008, with five owners from new. One previous owner kept the car for approximately 15 years.
The car is in immaculate condition for its age and mileage, with beautifully presented Silverstone II paintwork, excellent wheels and new premium tyres.
It comes with two keys and extensive supporting paperwork.
This is not being presented as a low-mileage collector's car, but rather a carefully maintained and substantially improved example of the E93 M3, with the expensive preventative jobs already completed.
Reason for sale
I've owned the M3 for approximately four months and originally intended to keep it, hence the recent expenditure on suspension, wheels, tyres and servicing.
However, an opportunity arose to purchase the Porsche 911 I've always wanted, so I've decided to make the change.
The short ownership is entirely due to the Porsche purchase rather than any issue with the M3.
