Description
A completely restored and overhauled classic VW T2 Devon Pop Top Camper. A bare metal plastic media blast back to metal substrate, any corrosion was removed and repaired. A vast list of works done on this vehicle from 2016 to 2021 by Vale Paints of Meden Vale (Classic Motor Cycle Restorers). Original seat frames repaired with new filling and fabrics. New head linings, door cards and insulation fitted. VanWurks kitchen installed with hob, fridge, sink (all unused) and a separate gas blower heater. Charger inverter and leisure battery installed. New rock and roll bed fitted. Engine and gear box overhauled. Electrics rewired and internal lights replaced for modern fittings. New pop top canopy fabric fitted in keeping with original colour scheme. Original steering wheel and vent features were kept to maintain authenticity. We have spent £10, 000's on this vehicle and it has been garaged and only used once since restoration.
We purchased the original vehicle in 2015 and collected from Exeter, it then underwent a thorough programme of refurbishment from 2016 to 2021. It is in concours condition and is a stand out immaculate vehicle. Would be a real head turner and prize winner for a genuine enthusiast and a passionate brand follower.
