Description
Ducati 1098 (NOT AN R) – Factory Yellow – Rare (1 of 6 UK) – Ohlins – Carbon – Termignoni Slash‑Cuts – Full Service & Belts – Long MOT – New Rear Tyre
Selling my exceptional Ducati 1098 in factory Yellow, believed to be one of just six UK bikes in this colour. It’s a genuinely rare machine and a superb example for anyone who appreciates the 1098’s place in Ducati history.
It has lots of history and paperwork, a long MOT, and recently had a full service and Ducati cam belts in June, so it’s fully up to date and ready to enjoy.
Upgrades include carbon extras, an Ohlins rear shock, and the very sought‑after Termignoni ‘slash‑cut’ carbon exhausts — a fantastic setup that sounds incredible and is increasingly hard to find.
A new rear tyre has just been fitted, and I’m including all the original standard parts, making it ideal for collectors or anyone wanting a factory‑correct machine.

A rare, beautifully kept 1098 that stands out in every way.
For me, the Ducati 1098 is the absolute pinnacle of Ducati design and engineering. It’s the perfect blend of everything that makes a Ducati a Ducati — the under‑seat exhausts, the single‑sided swingarm, and that iconic trellis frame. It’s a shape and a silhouette that has never been bettered. What’s not to like.
It’s also a bike that genuinely delivers. The 1098 doesn’t just look incredible — it goes. The torque, the surge, the way it pulls from low down… it’s addictive. And the handling is exactly what you want from a proper Ducati: sharp, planted, and confidence‑inspiring. It feels alive in a way modern electronics‑heavy bikes simply don’t.
That combination of classic Ducati design, raw mechanical feel, and real‑world performance is why I bought it — and why it stands out as one of the most special bikes they ever built.
The moment I saw it in factory Yellow, I knew it was something genuinely special. Ducati didn’t make many in this colour — and this one is believed to be one of only six UK‑supplied bikes — so it immediately stood out as a rare opportunity. I’ve owned many Ducatis over the years, but this one had that perfect blend of rarity, condition, and character that makes you stop scrolling and think, I shouldn’t let this one get away
