Description
Reluctantly selling, due to health issues preventing use, a FIAT Ducato motorhome from 1984 with just 116, 324 original miles. The vehicle is already registered as a historic camper, which guarantees immediate financial benefits: complete road tax exemption and annual insurance reduced to just £200.
This configuration with a front drop-down bed identifies the vehicle as a motorhome or high-end profile model for its era, ideal for collectors, enthusiasts or DIY lovers who want to personalise a compact camper with an extremely robust mechanical base.
Rear sleeping area: Rear dinette (perfect for comfortable dining) converted into a practical and comfortable French-style double bed.
• Front sleeping area: Spacious drop-down bed positioned above the driver's cab, which lowers quickly only when needed to optimise daytime space.
• Facilities: Internal bathroom present (never used by me).
• Upgraded water system: Water tank recently replaced and boiler ready for first use.
Service history: Always maintained at a FIAT dealership.
• Engine: Perfect, extremely reliable and with very low mileage for its age (116, 324 miles).
• MOT just passed as scheduled.
NEW engine battery, NEW alternator and second service battery included.
• Tyres: 75% of usable life remaining.
Gearbox: Manual mechanical.
[Vehicle is being sold at a bargain price for immediate sale with a "seen and approved" arrangement. To restore it to original condition requires some remedial work: presence of some rust spots on the bodywork and water ingress into the living area that needs sealing. The gearbox is perfectly functional but tends to "grind" slightly when engaging certain gears.]
