Here for sale is my 2002 BMW 530i, in rare manual form. With just under 72k miles it is a very seldom found low mileage example.
It is (obviously) mechanically perfect, with a recent service (carried out about two months and 2k miles ago), and drives practically like it did when it was new - it's hardly been broken in with these miles! It also benefits from a recent vacuum leak being repaired (leak at manifold diverter flap) and a recall being undertaken (faulty steering wheel airbag) at the Country Garage BMW, which of course comes with a BMW health check including underside video which can be made available to any potential purchasers. Both of these were carried out in the last couple of months.
However, there are a couple of little niggles that the new owner may wish to sort, including: slight bubbling to front end of sills (photo attached), very minor bubbling to a couple of arches, poor paintwork around back driver side arch (photo attached) , the boot only opening when key is inserted (sometimes opens with button on key), and the starter motor being noisy but having no problem starting the car. Also, the parking sensors are usually inoperative, but they sometimes decide to work now and again!
Add the 72k miles to the fact it only had 2 owners (the first for around 20 years!) until past July and that it has a full service history from new (with 10 stamps in the original service book) and it indicates the almost extinct calibre of one of BMW's best executive cars that is offered here for sale. I have owned many cars but I can honestly say that this is the best I have had so far, and there is genuinely nothing I could fault it on. It is an absolute delight to drive about in, no matter whether one is having some fun around twisty back roads or sailing down the motorway, but it still manages to be amazingly comfortable.
It is an extremely original example containing everything it came out of the factory with, including BMW standard issue toolkit, original black velour floor mats, the BMW glovebox torch, 2 proper keys, valet key, plastic spare key, Astle BMW key-rings, and all original documentation, including the original bill of sale from Astle BMW in December 2002. The only change from new is that it now sits on BMW Style 32 wheels, as opposed to the style 42s it left the factory with (these were gone before I got it).
So, I may be biased but I think this is an extremely fine, unmolested example of undoubtedly BMW's best mid-size executive car and possibly the ultimate solution to a one-car garage.
I could go on and on about the condition of this 530i but I have to stop somewhere or else I would be here all evening. I think it really must be seen in person to be fully appreciated, and don't hesitate to ring or send a message.
