Description
There have been two owners from new.
There is a partial service history, all work has either been completed by a Land Rover dealer, the same specialist 4 x 4 garage, or the person renovating. MOT until 13. 10. 27.
It was brought as a renovation project, most work has been done, but the owner has decided to take on a different project, so wants to release funds.
In good condition mechanically, only a few advisories from the MOT.
The interior is in good condition, there is some rust in the rear door wells, the instrument housing needs replacing, and the sliding roof shade needs recovering.
The bodywork needs attention, there are minor dents and paintwork to sort.
This vehicle was purchased from new in 1991 by a retiring orthopaedic surgeon who wanted a treat when he retired. It was his pride and joy for 26 years, and he kept it with loving attention until he died in 2018. It then passed to a neighbour as a renovation project, but after most work is done, the owner is selling it to free up funds for different project.
It is a lovely vehicle which always draws attention. It is the Vogue variant with plush grey carpets and armchair comfort. And it has the 4 litre V8 aluminium Buick engine with electronic fuel injection, the throaty roar turns heads.
