Wolseley Hornet Mk3 for sale. Charming little car in mid blue with a white roof, great fun to drive. Similar to a Mini but with a bigger boot for added luggage space. It also has small fins at the back.
The Wolseley was the luxury version. This one has lovely unmarked blue leather seats with white piping. It also has a walnut wooden dashboard. The mark three model introduced hidden door hinges and wind up windows, instead of the earlier sliding windows.
The engine is the later 998cc and has had twin carbs fitted, which makes it very quick and great fun to drive. The original carbs and manifold are included in the sale. The are also some other spares included. The bodywork and underneath of the car is in very good condition. The engine, gearbox and transmission are smooth with no rattles and knocks.
It is zero rated for road tax and MOT exempt, also very cheap to insure under classic car insurance. Haynes manual also included. You are welcome to view the car at Poole in Dorset.
