Description
Here we have a rare Armstrong Siddeley 346 ( 4 light) The four-light sapphire accounted for just 381 cars out of a production run of 7, 697, accordingly very few of these cars are still on the road today, great collectors car. As this was built in 1953 it makes this one of the early sapphires, so called a Mark 1 when Mark 2 came out. This has traffic indications with indicators in side lights.( I have removed the indicators from the from wings as they should not have been there, there are still some at the rear) Video available on request . Needs little tlc but very original especially the interior. ( not been messed with) still trying to get the horn working from the steering boss as at present it works from a button under the dash, has a extra fan fitted. I have owned this car for 10 years and is a enjoy to drive. open to serious offers, delivery is available at reasonable cost
The 346 was the first of the Sapphire models. It was introduced late in 1952 for sale in 1953, and was made until 1958. The six-cylinder, 3, 435 cc engine
