1985 Honda VF1000R x RS860
Original CA import with 22, 300 miles
I started to collect parts to convert the VF1000R into an endurance spec RS860 for the road. The RS1000R Honda never built! ?
The bike is complete, with a folder full of receipts, invoices for work carried out before it was taken off the road in late 2023 but unfortunately priorities have changed so I’m reluctantly selling.
Come with complete RS860 bodywork, CBR900 / F2 wheel set, brand new EBC discs front and back, CBR Nissin calipers with brand new pads, forks are original with updated springs, emulators and rear is adjustable YSS revalved with a harder spring spare.
Frame has been cut to accommodate the bodywork and custom twin exit (under seat) exhaust.
Engine is stock, new clutch fitted, slave cylinder, open airbox with ram aim, Dynojet kit with Ignitech CDI on TPS + coil sticks. Tuned by Dave Wood Racing at 110hp, flat shift and shift light calibrated and was a beast!
