Description
Topaz blue 2000 reg. A serious joy to drive.
As much as I love this car I need the money and it's not practical for my family.
A bit of a story behind this one. I brought it 15 years ago. Put approx 20k miles on it then took it off the road as I was working abroad on and off for nearly 10 years. Got it back on the road this year with minimal work. Replaced the tyres, drop links, ties rods, fuel pump, intake hose, refurb wheels. The cluster stopped working so brought a donor and sent to Autotonics for data transfer. It was important to secure the mileage counter. Past an MOT with a mention to surface rust on the back sub frame.
Slight door dings on the driver's side. No crease or cracks. Bad paint repair on the rear drivers wing size of a tennis ball. I'll be honest it was me. It had a small mark which I tried to spray myself. Learnt a lesson there. I can't spray. Slight clunky sound at low speed changing gear. I believe it's the rubber mounts back of the gear box or diff. Minor job. Z3 seats are known to need a bush replacement. Minor job cost 10 quid plus the effort. I did plan to get these final details sorted but I need money for Xmas and other things so new owner can sort that out. Another reason I'm selling is the car deserves to be looked after. I don't have a garage only a shared car park. I try to keep it sheltered under a cover as much as I can.
I've only driven about 200 miles since it's back on the road but it brought back the joy of this car. Power in all gears with a lovely sound. I wish I had the space, time and money to keep the car.
