Description
very good condition for a 60 year old, she was'nt to bad when i bought her but did need attention.
I have installed new piston rings and honed the barrell and she has an over size piston, also new gear quadrant spline , new clutch plates and springs, new wiring loom and solid state rectifyer... the amal carb was badly worn and i replaced with a genuine Mikuni carb and she runs as sweet as a pea.... the petrol tank has been cleaned and coated inside to prevent rust... she is still on the old 6 volt system and has a new 6 volt battery.... this bike is not a trailor queen and does have patina ... she just needs a new owner to ride her and take to classic shows and i need the room for my new bike that has an electric start..... i have the BSA owners club authentication certificate and she has had a new seat with the BSA logo embroiderd on the back also new matching knee pads.. this is a real honest classic and thank you for looking.
She always turns heads when the elderly folks hear that sound they remember so well and it makes them smile.... she always gets compliments and if she makes people think back to happier days.... that can't be bad.... this is a lovely piece of British motor cycle history.... Also TAX & MOT exempt with Historic class on v5.
