Description
Reluctant sale of our 2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 due to health reasons. The car has been in the same ownership for approximately 12–13 years and has been well looked after.
This is number 120 of the final 500 classic Minis produced, finished in Anthracite with a contrasting Platinum Silver roof, mirrors and bonnet stripes. Anthracite is the rarest of the Sport 500 colours, with only 108 examples produced.
The car has covered just 49, 290 miles and runs and drives very well. It has recently had four brand-new matching tyres fitted and comes with a fresh MOT with no advisories.
The car comes with:
Cooper Sport 500 Certificate of Authenticity and registration with the Sport 500 Club
Service history and MOT records
Both original keys, working factory alarm fobs and a third emergency key
Original factory booklets and wallet
Original black and titanium leather interior with turned-alloy dashboard
1, 275cc fuel-injected engine and manual gearbox
The car is in good, largely original condition, with a few minor areas of cosmetic rust beginning to appear, as is common with classic Minis.
A good, honest example of an increasingly rare classic Mini. It has been a much-loved car and is only being sold due to health circumstances.
We've owned this Mini for approximately 12–13 years, and it's been a much-loved car throughout that time. Unfortunately, we're now having to sell it due to health reasons.
It's a genuine 2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500, number 120 of the final 500 classic Minis produced. It's finished in Anthracite, the rarest of the Sport 500 colours, with only 108 examples made.
The car has covered just 49, 290 miles and runs and drives really well. It's a good, honest example that's been well looked after over the years. We've kept the service history and MOT records, along with the original Certificate of Authenticity, factory booklets, keys and working alarm fobs. It's also registered with the Sport 500 Club.
It has recently had four brand-new tyres fitted and comes with a fresh MOT with no advisories.
What makes this particular Mini special is its place in the final production run of the original Mini, along with its unusual Anthracite colour scheme. It's a lovely example of a classic car that's still great fun to drive.
We'll be sad to see it go, but we'd be pleased for it to go to someone who appreciates these cars as much as we do.
