Reluctant sale due to ULEZ
Super condition 1998 factory colour volcano orange cooper with full length webasto roof and mark 1 grill. Been my car for roughly 20 years on and off: Was a 1 owner car from northern ireland when I bought it and took to Republic of Ireland: Was kept within family and taken to the UK - 2 others both all mini lovers - till I took it back in 2009. Theres a story after that - every mini has one. Never been crashed.
Stacks of paper work. Has been serviced and repaired by mini specialists all whilst in my ownership.
Had a typical front end rebuild and respray with new sills in 2018 - rear of the car is all original. Have had some bubbling on wings recently treated so bodywork is 98%. Its a drivers car so a couple of tiny marks and blemishes. Original subframe (a couple of small welds) which is sealed. Recent work includes a brand new roof (to last another 30 years) service and new MOT. Car had a new interior dash in the last few years and new bumpers so looks spot on: Original full leather interior and red carpet; Sony bluetooth stereo.
Mechanically the car is spot on (due to new MOT) and I always stay on top of any work that's required. I've full confidence in the car and would literally drive it anywhere: It's been to Northampton and back recently for the new roof and it drove a dream. Despite the very low mileage every year, I do try to take it out a few times a year for a blast on dual carriageways / motorways.
Tyres are Nankang NK Comfort AS-1 with maybe 5k miles on them.
This has always been my dream mini - volcano orange sportspack. When i bought it first it was on about 47k miles - it was my daily drive doing a minimum 60 mile a day round trip. As that wasn't going to be sustainable, my cousin bought it and she cherished it like me.
A total summer car, this is the time to have it. Drives exactly like a mini should
