JAGUAR XKR 100 2002 One of only 20 available outside the U. S. A. and U. K.
This exceptionally rare Jaguar "XKR 100", unveiled in 2001 to mark the centenary of Sir William Lyons' birth, was built in 250 coupé examples.
150 were produced for the American market (to US anti-pollution standards)
80 (right-hand drive) for the United Kingdom
and just 20 for the Rest of the World (RoW).
This car is one of the 20 'XKR 100' coupés reserved for distribution through Jaguar dealerships outside the USA and U. K.
You will never see another one, not even at Jaguar gatherings!
The example offered today was exported new to Germany on 27/ 12/ 2001 and delivered on 1/ 01/ 2002 by Jaguar Rösler GmbH, Kassel, to Autocentrum Werne (Werne, D). Its first owner was the garage's manager, who kept it for six years, even after the dealership changed to 'Jaguar La Linéa' in Kassel.
It was then sold on 10/ 12/ 2008 to Sir James B. (Saarbrücken), who kept it for 15 years, from 2008 to 2023. Mr B., a Lufthansa airline pilot, then took it along in his luggage to the United Arab Emirates and then to England, where he retired.
He finally sold the Jaguar in 2023 to another captain, Mr Christopher F., also a British citizen, who came to work in France for easyJet.
The latter imported the car into France, and its current owner (the third to date) was entrusted with it in May 2026.
The car has covered 174, 000 km from new and runs like it did on day one.
The Jaguar XKR 100 coupé is a special car, as it has not only the luxurious and generous equipment of the supercharged XKR 4. 0 litre, but every option in the Jaguar catalogue.
These include the Handling Pack (lowered suspension, adaptive dampers, reinforced front and rear anti-roll bars, large Brembo brakes...), Recaro sport seats front and rear, 20-inch BBS 'Montreal' wheels specially made for this model, an exclusive wood finish, extended leather, perforated aluminium pedals, an 'R' steering wheel, an 'R' gear lever by Momo, sat nav, etc...
As for colour, there was no choice: every XKR 100 was metallic black with an anthracite extended leather interior.
There were only three optional extras available on this car:
the first aid kit,
the dual-band Motorola GSM phone (in the armrest) and
the particulate filter.
The car is clearly fitted with the first two; as for the third, I don't know, as it is impossible to see without removing the wiper arms and the protective grille!
So it is a 'fully loaded ++++' car, to which we can add:
the Jaguar umbrella in the boot,
a full, gold-plated, leather-covered Rémy Martin Cognac hip flask bearing the Jaguar crest, and a crystal tumbler in the glovebox!!

Finally, the car was processed by Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations before delivery and had its speed limiter lifted, so its top speed is around 285 km/ h instead of the 250 km/ h limit.
It is also fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system that gives it the proper Jaguar 'growl' rather than the original pussycat sound, a real treat at every speed. (Video available on request)
Recent work in 2026 included an air-conditioning recharge and new strut top mounts on all four wheels, plus a front wheel alignment (mandatory after removing the dampers).
A unique chance to acquire this superb car, which was produced in only 250 examples, 50 of them for the Rest of the World outside the USA and UK. I bought it for its rarity, its comfort and its power, and for the 'music' it makes from the moment it starts, thanks to its stainless exhaust (sublime). Its finish and its Recaro seats (optimal driving position) are excellent, and it has all the features of today's cars: heated windscreen and seats with electric adjustment, sequential electric windows, adaptive damping, Brembo discs, central locking, automatic air-conditioning, ABS/ ASR, a sport mode on the dashboard (damping/ steering/ throttle/ gearbox), sat nav, etc.... A simply MAGNIFICENT car that will become a collectable given its rarity; it is estimated that only about a dozen were sold across the whole of Europe. Produced from late 2001 to early 2002.
