Description
I am selling this Gti on behalf of a good friend of mine who is a Golf enthusiast owning a Mk1 Gti and also a Mk1 Clipper.
United Grey Metallic, Will come with 12 months Mot, Full and comprehensive service history with 16 stamps in the book. Timing belt and water pump changed in 2024. Comes with genuine mats, 2 keys and the original Vw wallet with all handbooks/ invoices. Car was previously under sealed by Preserve & Protect in Glasgow.
This car has went through a subtle restoration covering any negative areas of paint including having new front wings fitted which are a common issue on this era of Vw. The wheels have also been professionally diamond cut to factory spec and the car has had a brand new headlining trim in the correct period material. It also has 4 matching Michelin tyres all with 7/ 8mm of tread. What we have now is a fantastic useable modern classic which will only rise in value given that the Mk5 is acclaimed to be one of the best Gti’s ever made.
One of the best examples left in totally standard and unmodified condition.
If you wish to view the car I can put you in touch with the owner.
