This little car was bought new by a Miss Bolster from Stewart and Arden London dealership. She kept the car until 2003/ 2004 according to the paperwork (which is vast, every receipt from new)

The car then underwent a slight transformation. Out went the original 1000cc engine. In went a 21, 000 mile MG Metro engine. The engine was built to the following spec, 2x1/ 2 su carbs, modified inlet manifold, Billet Aluminium 1. 5 offset roller tip rockers, 3. 1 diff, full RC40 2. 25 exhaust. To help it to stop, it also had Grooved 7. 5 inch cooper s discs, Twin pot Cooper s calipers, Cooper s driveshafts, Braided front hoses,
Green Stuff EBC Brake Pads (recently replaced) Rear Brakes are standard shoes with Minifin Drums. Wheels are Lightweight Cooper style alloys. The suspension is adjustable Hi-Lo.
The steering rack is new as are the track rod ends. New anti roll bar bushes. The shell was waxoyled from new, this is now flaking in places, it has however protected the shell, which has no rot and has never been welded. The exterior has seen virtually no paintwork. it has blistering on the bonnet and roof, but it is original. Overall, this car is, pretty original apart from the mechanical modifications.
the car is very original never welded still has original floor sills very hard to come by few blisters on bonnet but it’s all original in AQUA blue with white roof
