Description

1976 Fiat 128 3P 1100 in Verde Marina 308F green colour with the 1116cc engine and 4 speed manual gearbox. Car was sold new in Cremona, Lombardy Italy in June 1976 where it remained till 2018 (same owner) when it was bought by a small dealership in UK specialising in Italian cars. Eventually bought by a Maltese gentleman in May 2020 and imported to Malta in July of the same year. Remained with same owner until his passing away in March of 2026, then I bought if from his heirs so basically I am the 3rd owner. Genuine milage of arounf 73, 000 kms (I still use the car occassionally so mileage might increae a bit).

Very genuine and unmolested survivor. Car has never been restored although some panels are repainted. Mo panels have ever been replaced. All original interior in green vinyl that is still very presentable. Dashboard in very good condition, no cracks and no cut outs for stereo, even the parcel shelf has no speaker holes, neither do the front door panels and rear quarter panels.

All electrics work as they should, lights, indicators, brake and reverse lights, horn, wipers, courtesy light, heater, so no problems there. Car was never equipped with hazard lights. Locks work too and have spare keys. Steering comes with factory steering lock and speaking of the steering there is no loose, just as you touch the steering the wheels turn. Also very good brakes, car stops really well. Previous owner was a car enthusiast and even competed in some classic races so kept the vehicle in very good mechanical order.

Paint is still presentable but surely not perfect so please keep this in mind. From what I can conclude roof, driver's door and rear quarter, front and rear valances, engine compartment and underside of bonnet and tailgate are still in original factory paint. There are paint chips and some small dents here and there.

The only mechanical thing that has been replaced to non original is the fuel pump, mechanical one still in place but when it failed a new electric pump has been fitting. Could be turned to original quite easily. Engine works really well, all original carburator, exhaust manifold etc, not modified in any way.

When I bought the car it was on Minilight wheels but they were not to my liking so replaced them with refurbished (no rust at all) Fiat 131 Mirafiori wheels, now running on Nexen 165/ 65/ 14 tyres (few months old). Wheels suit the car very well, nice ride, much easier to steer and make the casr look more Italian styling wise. Spare wheel is still the origanal 3P steel wheel. New battery is just a couple of months old too (car came with a battery cut off switch, quite handy but can be removed in minutes. and re connecting original negative cable to front valance, nothing has been modified). Car is very clean inside, outside, engine compartment, even the undercarriage is considerably clean for a 50 year old car. Ideal to enjoy as is since it is ready to drive or maybe give it a repaint and turn it into a pristine 3P.

Since this is an Italian market car steering is on the left hand side but still easy to drive since visibility is very good all round. Car located in Malta so transport will have to be arranged, either drive it to Sicily using the Virtu Ferries or exported to UK up to Kent on a car transporter. Any questions pleasse ask. If you have any relatives or friends in Malta they can come view the car for you or you can combine a short holiday and see it yourselves.

Car is very 70s looking in the vibrant green colour with matching green vinyl interior. Looks quite sporty and it is very spacious. Highly unmolested classic Fiat. Runs great and very high revving. Has a very nice exhaust note. Easy to maintain as mechanical parts are still relatively common to find.
