Arguably the best modern-era Golf GTI in the best specification.
When car enthusiasts talk about the sweet spot of modern hot hatches, the conversation almost always lands on the Mk7. 5 Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance.
Refining the already brilliant Mk7 platform, the Mk7. 5 introduced sharper styling, enhanced cabin technology, and crucial mechanical updates – all while preserving the driver-focused DNA that made the GTI such a capable and well-rounded hot hatch.
This particular 2019 GTI Performance model features the highly sought-after six-speed manual transmission, delivering an engaging, tactile driving experience that is increasingly rare in today's performance car landscape. Finished in crisp Pure White, it is specified in what many collectors consider the perfect Mk7. 5 combination: iconic 'Clark' tartan cloth interior paired with the rare, factory-optional 19-inch, 'Pretoria' lightweight forged alloy wheels.
The car has covered 41, 606 miles in the hands of three previous owners and boasts a full service history, with Volkswagen main dealer and specialist care.
Presented in excellent condition throughout, the Pure White paintwork perfectly sets off the red GTI accent striping, black front splitter details, and the rare 19-inch forged Pretoria wheels. Inside, the cabin presents fantastically well – the timeless tartan seats show crisp bolster support, and the touchpoints reflect meticulous care by its previous custodian.
It has recently been fitted with a new set of tyres, new spark plugs, new set of brake pads and new rear brake discs, and underwent a gearbox oil change.
Accompanied by a clean HPI check, digital service history printout, original handbooks, and two keys, this GTI Performance offers its next owner the chance to acquire a meticulously cared-for example of one of the finest driver’s cars of its generation which marks a high point in the long history of the Golf GTI.
