Honda CBR600 F2 Benetton
An original UK 1991 Benetton bike with history from new, not a replica or repaint as many are. This was the launch colour to celebrate the release of the new F2 series bike in 1991, arguably the rarest of the lot.
A superb original example, low mileage with a thorough service just carried out that rides as good as it looks. I’ll let the photos do most of the talking (all photos are as they were taken no filters or Ai trickery, the white lines in photos are reflections of LED strip lights)
Just 18k miles from new with comprehensive history, inc all old mot’s (even it’s first in 1994) Original service book and owners card along with a host of invoices.
Original fairings, bodywork, engine and frame. New stainless downpipes with period end can. Carbs have just been stripped, rebuilt and balanced, inside the fuel tank is like new with no rust issues (quite a common problem otherwise) Original tool kit still under the seat.
I’ve owned and worked on these bikes for the last 20+ years so know them very well. Very little to fault it on, exceptionally clean and original, rides superbly. Fires instantly on 4 cylinders, lovely and clean throughout the rev range, no flat spots or hesitation. Just a really enjoyable modern classic with the hard work done, so difficult to find nice original ones in this condition now and always a talking point at the bike meets.
Excellent value and a good little investment given condition, history and rarity. Mot’d till August 2027, 2 keys present with same key fitting all locks, HPI and bike check clear.
