1951 Vincent Comet, C series 500cc single in great, useable condition.
This Comet was restored some years ago by a former keeper so presents very well with only a few cosmetic marks to some of the paint and chrome from use and storage over the years.
The engine is crisp; starts easily (usually first kick), ticks over fine and pulls well through the gears with a lovely single bark. Brakes, clutch, gearbox etc all perform how they should making the bike a pleasure to ride.
Overall a very original machine, still sporting all the Vincent specialities such as Miler lights and horn, brass bodied Amal carb, reversible rear wheel and twin drum front brake.
