very tidy example of the a w115
Tax and MOT exempt, recently had a mechanical restoration including new engine from a w123 with 76k miles on it and full service including diff and gearbox oils, new fuel hoses and fuel tank clean, a new radiator core from motorads of Redditch, new battery.
overall it is in good honest condition, the underside is solid and has just had a Lanoguard underseal treatment. The bodywork does have a few blemishes and few spots starting to bubble (see pictures) but decent overall. The interior is in very good condition, the leather has held up well.
Overall a tidy, tractable, usable classic with scope to improve and take to the next level with the bodywork
I Bought the car over a year ago with the engine having a broken oil pump with the intention of repairing and getting it running but upon closer inspection it appeared there had been some oil starvation to the engine and so I thought it safest to replace the engine. In the process of this any other little issues that were found were dealt with like the radiator. Now its good to go for another 50 years!
