BSA Saloon S 10/ E 1934 Company history BSAs were produced between 1907 and 1912 in Birmingham and until 1939 in Coventry and Birmingham. After 1912, production was handled by the group's subsidiary, Daimler in Coventry or BSA Cycles in Birmingham. In 1933, the Daimler Group subsidiary in Coventry or BSA Cycles in Birmingham offered a robust 10 bhp light car, which featured no less than six different body styles at Olympia that year. Built by BSA's Daimler subsidiary in Coventry, the 10 bhp was powered by a 1, 185 cc four-cylinder engine, which was driven by Daimler's characteristic fluid flywheel and a gearbox. The car has a 4-speed preselector gearbox and the engine block has been overhauled. The car drives perfectly, the engine and preselector gearbox work very well. Number: T 1884 History of this car The story goes that the BSA was taken over by the previous owner in Moldova, North Wales, in May 2004. In February 2005, the car was taken to Biggleswade to a motorbike restoration workshop, where the engine was fully checked and overhauled, including the steering rack, suspension and other components. Around 2007, the car took part in the local Glamis Extravaganza, a vintage and veteran car show dedicated to all manner of transport and machinery.
