Description
SUZUKI T500 "COBRA" 1968.
- The T500, a road motorcycle marketed from 1967 to 1977. Powered by a large-capacity 2-stroke engine, reliable and performance‑oriented. A top speed of 169 km/ h at 6000 rpm and a dry weight of 193 kg.
The Suzuki T500 proves even more reliable than some European twins with 4-stroke engines.
- It was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in autumn 1967. It initially hit the USA market, under the name T500 Five. The long‑wheelbase T500 gains high‑speed stability, and the longer saddle provides better comfort for two!!! They’re not afraid to venture far from home at the handlebars of a T500 cc.
- Under pressure from the carmaker Ford, holder of the name "Cobra", Suzuki was compelled to rename its 500. It is around the Dodge badge that rights were asserted, for "Charger"; Suzuki would henceforth be known as the T500 "Titan".
- Our SUZUKI T500 "Cobra" is simply sublime, from this "Private Collection, see a personal Museum", it owns these motorcycles for display. Of course it requires a bit of care to operate properly.
- I remain at your disposal for this T500 "MAGNIFICENT MACHINE".
