Warranty - Delivery possible. The Beetle is no longer a household name, it was the first car built by Volkswagen and its name means "People's Car". Designed by Austrian engineer Ferdinand Porsche, it was produced from 1938 to 2003. Its longevity and popularity are unique in automotive statistics. With 21, 529, 464 units sold worldwide, the Beetle has surpassed the Ford T record. Initially powered by a 4-cylinder flat engine of 985 cm3 developing 25 bhp, the Beetle's technical evolution took the form of increases in cubic capacity, finally reaching 1584 cm3 and 50 bhp in 1972. Our Beetle is a 1969 model, its lines more rounded and very close to the original design favoured by collectors. Inside, we still find the straight dashboard with its uncluttered design so characteristic of the versions from the 1960's. This car has benefited from a TOTAL restoration. As well as the paintwork, the chassis and the interior, with new seat covers, headlining and door trim, all the mechanical parts have been restored, with a new engine, gearbox, clutch, running gear and brakes.
