Description
Hello. Following a fusion of the right wrist (arthrodesis), I can no longer ride a motorcycle. I am therefore reluctantly parting with this beautiful machine, of which I am finishing the restoration. It is run-in, with all the mechanicals renewed (numerous invoices).
Egli collection papers in my name, to be able to do small rides, I have added the stop switches, a brand-new speedometer and rev counter on a homemade plate cut from stainless steel. A Thruxton-type front-end fairing, side panels, and an electronic Boyer ignition have been recently fitted. I still need to fine-tune the setup with a strobe.
This motorcycle, besides being very beautiful, is unique in this presentation, equipped with an Egli racing fork, a Carello tail light, and front Brembo braking.
For seasoned riders and collectors who understand that such an object is not meant for touring or city travel, but will be comfortable on small roads or on the track.
The origin of the frame is probably an Egli-licensed reconstruction from the United Kingdom. The swinging arm is similar to the one fitted to La King's Kawasaki from the Bol d’Or 1974...
Price to be discussed reasonably given its rarity.
