PEUGEOT 203 EUGENE MARTIN , Prototype used to build the SAMSON 2300 S, unique model Eugène Martin , distinguished racing driver who took part three times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans , engine builder, set out to build a sports coupé based on a 1500 CM3 engine in order to compete with world production . He built 4 prototypes of the "MARTIN SPECIALE", entered them in various races and proposed the design of this car to SAMSON... with the well-known success that followed. This example is the only survivor of the prototypes based on the 203, with its 1500 CM3 engine, BORGO pistons, two EUGENE MARTIN carburettors, 4X1 exhaust, large-capacity oil sump, special ALU rocker cover, rev counter, etc. This car has just been completely restored, blue leather interior, and is eligible for historic races.
