Description
The famous CSI coupé starts up, runs, and brakes.
The mechanical side, including the suspension, dampers and brakes, has been renewed.
The engine has been completely dismantled with replacement of the bearings, replacement of the pistons rings, bore honing, replacement of all seals, reassembly and balancing of the rotating assembly. A complete custom stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted.
The front brakes are M635 brakes, as are the suspension components, and these were refurbished by STAC, with large guide rods.
The five‑speed sport gearbox with reverse-first gearing Gétrag and the BMW X‑Sport limited‑slip differential.
The fuel tank, the engine bay, and the underside have been stripped and re-treated.
Remaining to do: rewire the electrical loom following the alarm removal, bodywork repaint, interior, and re-fitting the bumpers.
I own the BMW workshop manual in two volumes.
There are also four 730 wheels with new tyres, wings, front and rear bonnets, electrical parts, injection, dampers and original transmission...
My health issues mean I can no longer finish it. I am selling it for the amount of the various labour costs I had to pay and the purchase of parts.
There is a registration document, which is not in my name but it is the authentic registration for this vehicle. I bought this car from a Legion Colonel in Aubagne, I worked there for years, but I can’t manage it anymore.
