Description
The famous CSI coupé starts, runs, and brakes. The mechanical side, the suspension, and the brakes have all been renewed. The engine has been completely dismantled with the replacement of bearing shells, replacement of the piston rings, cylinder bore honing, replacement of all gaskets, reassembly and balancing of the rotating assembly. A bespoke stainless exhaust system has been fitted. The front brakes are M635 brakes, as are the suspension, and these have been refurbished by STAC, with oversized guide rods. The five-speed sport transmission with reverse-first Gétrag and the X-Sport BMW limited-slip differential. The tank, the engine bay, and the underbody have been stripped and re-treated. Remaining work: reworking the wiring loom following the disassembly of the alarm, bodywork repaint, interior, re-fitting of the bumpers. I own the BMW workshop manual in two volumes. Additionally, there are four 730 wheels with new tyres, front and rear wings, bonnets, electrical parts, injection, dampers and the original transmission... My health issues mean I can no longer finish it. I am selling it for the cost of the various labour charges I had to pay, and the purchase of parts. There is a registration document that is not in my name, but it is the authentic registration document for this vehicle. I bought this car from a Legion Colonel in Aubagne; I worked there for years, but I can no longer manage.
