Description
Engine 2. 2L 118hp rebuilt, glazing, resurfacing, and timing (break-in due), water pump revised, ignition and loom, all hoses and seals new, brakes, suspension, tyres, bespoke triple-flow radiator, gearbox oil changed. 102, 000km original white paint, honey leather interior, complete trim. MOT OK, normal V5C. Very comfortable, mid-rear engine very smooth with plenty of reach, road-holding accordingly, fuel consumption contained, perfect for 3-up trips, on winding back roads to enjoy it to the full! To be anticipated: cooling fan and window regulators tired, wheels to repaint, door seals to replace.
Technical inspection has been carried out, the report is as follows:
a little corrosion on the front subframe
a small tear in the rubber gaiter of the steering rack
the number plate light bulb is not bright enough
the bushings linking the chassis to the axles are cracked and would be worth replacing with new ones in the medium term
A strong positive is the CO₂ level, it is permitted 4. 5%, and it was measured at 0. 13%
the suspension and brakes are almost new (about 1000 km)
With the timing being new there is a 1000 km break-in to do without exceeding 3500 rpm, after which a fine-tuning of the ignition timing should be considered.
The car is complete and original, except the engine which has been a factory exchange.
I had a specialist fabricate a triple-flow radiator, because the engine is confined at the rear and needs fresh air
there is an *** stainless steel Competition-Factory exhaust homologated and numbered
The ventilation and window lifters need rechecking, there is a seam in the driver's seat to be re-done;
the rear wheels are primed, ready to paint, the same should be done with the front wheels
door seals and the fuel gauge need to be replaced.
The paint has a few minor defects (photos) but it must be looked at carefully.
I have the invoices dating back to the 1980s, I know the previous owners,
the first and not least was Pierre CUQ, alias Pierre MONDY, the actor "Chef Chaudard" of the films
"La 7e compagnie" (among others) who owned it for about 2 years, then Mr MARR... also about 2 years, then Mr DEGO... a friend of my parents who owned it for about 30 years.
There you have it, I can hardly be any more precise.
