The ultimate evolution of the TR4 and TR5, the TR6 arrived in 1968 and would become the most popular TR, thanks to its more powerful six-cylinder engine and the design evolution.
Our example is a US specification, the preferred market for this English roadster, and is therefore fitted with two Stromberg carburettors. It was imported into France in 2017. We have the car’s invoices since its arrival on the continent.
Mechanical condition: This TR6 is regularly serviced and has been made reliable over the years by its owners. The 2. 5L inline-six is equipped with two Stromberg carburettors; its operation is flawless, with no noise or smoke. The four-speed manual gearbox is pleasant to use. The overdrive is fully functional.
Interior condition: The black faux-leather seats are in excellent condition, with no rips. The carpets and door panels are clean, and the wooden dashboard is well preserved. The steering wheel is also in very good condition.
Exterior condition: The bodywork is in good overall condition, with no signs of impact. The Jasmine Yellow paint is fresh and has a very nice appearance. The wheels and tyres are also in good order. The black vinyl hood is in good condition, with no holes and watertight. A chrome luggage rack is fitted to the boot. The hood cover is also in good condition. All the chrome trim is well preserved.
